Revo Financial took root in the oil, gas, and chemical industry. Founders Jon Nettles and Bob Marlowe (learn more about our history) wanted to build a firm that worked for their former colleagues. That means, Revo has valued, strategy, and productivity from day one. We also understand the nature of the oil and gas business—how regulators and market forces can drastically impact performance; the revolving door of talent as companies refocus every few years; and the American dream that fuels all of it. At Revo, we put the same efficiency that fuels a successful career in oil and gas to work for clients like you. And we’re building with the future in mind, tapping a new generation of talent to take the firm forward.
Lucas and Lydia understand tradition; they also have their eyes on the horizon. Our next-generation financial specialists come to the firm with their own expertise. Lucas specializes in working with business owners, and is helping to grow Revo into the future. Lydia holds an insurance license, allowing her to help generate custom risk management and income solutions for Revo clients.

Financial planning requires you to balance different goals. Sometimes, that means reconciling different priorities. Building (and naming) a business is no different.
Revo’s co-founders came from competing universities. Bob Marlowe was a University of Texas alumnus, while Jon Nettles graduated from Texas A&M.
The duo joined the names of the two team mascots—Bevo and Reveille—to come up with the firm’s name.
Initially, Jon hoped the pronunciation would rhyme more with rev (like ‘rev your engines’) instead of just pronouncing Bevo with an R. However, with Bob’s passing in 2025, we’ve come to look at the way we pronounce our firm as a true testament to Bob and the influence he’s had on our firm.
As a man who “walked the walk” prioritizing faith and family, Bob helped influence the culture at this firm as much as he influenced the name, and we work to honor his legacy every day.
